The Quality & Exception Parcels Team ensure the identification and resolution of all types of exceptions encountered in the warehouse and train new operators on the three basic processes: Injection, Route Mode Sorting, and Parcel Mode Sorting.
Responsibilities
1. Management of Unplanned and Exception Parcels:
- Handle unplanned and exception parcels to ensure their final operations are completed (e.g., return to China, label reprinting, etc.).
- Identify, prioritize, and resolve parcel anomalies during the start of each shift.
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of exception parcels and coordinate their processing with operators.
2. Relabeling Operations (Rerouting):
- Manage relabeling operations for parcels when necessary.
- Check label compliance with established standards.
3. Monitoring Parcels Entering the Warehouse Without an Exit Trace:
- Reduce "lost" parcels within the warehouse.
- Propose improvements for processes and the identification of parcels without a final physical status (e.g., return to China, damaged, relabeled).
4. Training and Support for Other OPS Team Members:
- Be trained and support others to effectively convey the basic prerequisites for sorting and injection processes.
- Schedule training sessions as needed for new arrivals on injection and sorting processes.
5. Team Supervision:
- Supervise, train, and support the three operators under their responsibility.
- Organize daily tasks and ensure an efficient distribution of workloads.
6. Follow-Up and Reporting:
- Provide daily reports to the OPS Manager for the AM/PM shift on all actions taken and anomalies encountered.
Requirements:
1. Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently.
- Proficiency in warehouse management tools and parcel tracking software.
2. Managerial Skills:
- Natural leadership to supervise and motivate a team of five operators.
- Ability to work under pressure and effectively prioritize tasks.
- Strong communication skills to relay information to the OPS Manager.
3. Personal Qualities:
- Precision and organizational skills.
- Proactivity and a sense of initiative.
- Team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.
4. Experience:
- Previous experience in team management within a logistics environment.
- Knowledge of anomaly management flows is a plus.
