Onsite Technician-Compans
We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Equipment Maintenance Technician to support the technical stability and operational performance of our sorting center. The technician will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
1. Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on sorting center equipment, including conveyors, scanners, motors, sensors, inverters, and servo systems.
- Ensure all equipment remains in optimal working condition through systematic upkeep and timely interventions.
- Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize operational disruption.
2. Troubleshooting, Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Diagnose equipment failures using electrical schematics, diagnostic tools, and root‑cause analysis methodologies.
- Document all incidents, interventions, and technical findings in a structured and traceable manner.
- Propose and implement improvement plans to enhance equipment reliability, safety, and performance.
- Monitor operator practices and ensure compliance with equipment usage standards to prevent misuse and premature wear.
3. Technical Evaluation & New Equipment Deployment
- Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments for new equipment, systems, or facility upgrades.
- Participate in installation, commissioning, testing, and pre‑acceptance processes for new machinery and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure smooth integration of new technologies into daily operations.
4. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and internal standards.
- Support the implementation of preventive safety measures and contribute to a safe working environment.
Job Requirement
1. Technical Experience & Diagnostic Skills
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in electrical maintenance and repair, ideally in an industrial or automated‑equipment environment.
- Strong ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair inverters, servo controllers, motors, sensors, and other electrical components.
- Proven capability to read, interpret, and apply electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation during interventions.
2. Industry Experience
- Prior experience maintaining logistics sorting center equipment—such as conveyors, diverters, scanners, and automated handling systems—is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with high‑throughput, fast‑paced operational environments is a strong advantage.
3. Certifications & Education
-Possession of a valid electrician certificate, electrical qualification (e.g., Electrical habilitation), or electrical engine certification is a significant plus.
- College degree or higher in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, automation, or a related technical field.
4. Language Skills
- Proficiency in English is required to read technical documentation, communicate with engineering teams, and support international operations.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese is an additional asset, especially for coordination with equipment suppliers or internal teams.
